Borrowed from the boys but reconstructed for the girls, a white t-shirt is the epitome of simplicity. It can dress down the most embellished skirt and serve as a blank canvas for any statement necklace. I wear white t-shirts embarrassingly often, to the point where I have to remind myself that there are other top options out there. As a result, I've amassed quite a collection over the years and have since become increasingly more picky about the fit. For me, it's all about seaming and tissue thin material that drapes like a dream.

After ages of debating and trying to find a comparable less expensive alternative, I finally caved and bought a pair of Isabel Marant Dicker boots. From the call to put the last pair on hold to the long drive to the moment when I opened the box and saw the gorgeous anthracite color, I just knew they were going to be one of those special pieces. A piece that would go with everything and a piece that I saved for and can truly appreciate. And that, to me, is worth every penny.
